Travelling In A Storm

One of mine and my partner's favourite tracks. I wrote it, where else but, in the car on the way up to North Bay during a rainstorm.
Travelling in a storm
We keep passing under rain clouds
The rain comes pouring pouring pouring down
Thunder and lighting surround us
We forget there is a road we’re on
Travelling in a storm
We can’t see where we’re going
Travelling in a storm
We forget where we’ve come from
The yellow line is getting blurry
The roads a rocky rocky rocky road
We need to get there in a hurry
There’s no sign of the weather clearing up
Travelling in a storm
We can’t see where we’re going
Travelling in a storm
We forget where we’ve come from
Oh but when the sun is shinning
The sky is clear, the world is drying
We forget there ever was a cloud
Maybe sometimes the clouds won’t find us
We can leave these storms behind us
When we learn to head for higher ground
We keep passing under rain clouds
The rain comes pouring pouring pouring down
